New Mission and Vision for LightHouse World Evangelism, Inc.

On October 20, 2007 LightHouse World Evangelism, Inc. will be celebrating 10 years of ministry service.   As we embark on a new decade of service I want to take a moment and share with you our new mission strategy for the decade ahead.  We as a ministry believe God has called and directed us to be more clear about it to you, our partners, and make every effort to move In this new direction beginning immediately.

As many of you know, we have been recognized as a ministry that helps those seeking freedom from homosexuality.  There will always be room in my heart  to help those who desire complete and total healing from their identity of being homosexual.  However, this is not and has really never been my sole calling.  Though I have experienced a true and verifiable miracle from God by being delivered from homosexuality and totally healed from the HIV/AIDS Virus, this in no way however mandates me to run an ex-gay ministry or  “healing ministry,” as most would think I should, or even speak exclusively on the matter of homosexuality.

Unfortunately, over the past decade, I have been marked not only by homosexual organizations, but Christian organizations as well, as being solely involved in ex-gay ministry.  This ex-gay ministry stamp defining what we do here at LightHouse World Evangelism, Inc. does not do justice for what our team accomplishes each and every day.  Helping individuals overcome identity issues regarding homosexuality has only been a small part of what we as a ministry have accomplished over the last ten years. 

The “Finding Your Identity In Christ Seminar” that I conduct does not deal with homosexuality in a direct way.  Rather, it sees homosexuality as just another symptom of a root issue.  This seminar deals with the root issue of how each and every human being needs to have their identity in Christ alone.  When our identity is formed by judgments and vows spreading over years of our lives, problems arise.  This seminar teaches and instructs individuals on how to begin to see themselves as Jesus sees them.   By having one’s identity in Christ, individuals find freedom from all sorts of addictive behaviors and false identities created.

Therefore, I have spent hours re-shaping our mission. Please feel free to send comments.  Also know that as you partner with us, with your financial contributions and prayers, we are diligently moving ahead in our purposes as a ministry.

I want to personally thank each and every one of you that have sowed into LightHouse World Evangelism, Inc. over the past ten years.  We could not have made it ten years without your generous giving and your continued prayer.  I look forward to another decade of serving the Body of Christ and training and equipping leaders for the end times that are ahead of us.

Before closing, I want to take a moment to apologize to those of you that sowed into our ministry for  the purpose of seeing the DVD of my life story be completed.  This endeavor was challenging to say the least.  I can assure you that your donated gifts were used for this project.  I am pleased to announce that the project has been completed.  The DVD has been mass duplicated and is ready for mailing.  For those of you that gave to the project, should be receiving your DVD (s) soon, if not already.  For those that would like a copy please click here.
